TLC was formalized sending a first shipment of flowers on an aircraft that departed from the international airport in the Colombian capital on Monday night. The plane landed in Miami with 4,200 boxes of flowers from nine companies in the rural surroundings of the capital of Colombia, a country that floriculture employs about 150,000 people and left currency from exports last year totaled 1,250 million dollars.

The TLC is a hard blow to our nation. The trade is not going to be equitative for Colombia. Our sales will be reduced, while the U.S. economy will increase at the expense of our resources.
